Thank you for choosing Ranges Studio. We are a small, dedicated studio offering speech and drama education for young people in the Macedon Ranges. Our classes run in small groups with limited places, and we work carefully to create consistent, high-quality experiences for every student.
These terms set out how our programs work, what to expect, and what we ask of families. They are designed to be clear, fair, and straightforward. By enrolling, you agree to these terms.
1. Health & Safety
- Your young person's health and safety are our highest priority. Ranges Studio holds a current Working with Children Check and is committed to child safety at all times.
- Please ensure your enrolment form includes current medical information, allergies, and any relevant conditions so we can provide appropriate care.
- In a medical emergency, we will seek appropriate assistance, including contacting emergency services if required. Every effort will be made to contact a parent or guardian first. If we are unable to reach you, we may act in the young person's best interests.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for any costs associated with emergency medical treatment.
2. Enrolment & Fees
- Enrolment forms must be completed before commencing classes.
- Invoices are issued via email. Payment is required within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise arranged.
- Payments that have been processed cannot be refunded. Overpayments will be credited to future sessions.
- Fees are agreed prior to commencement. Any changes will be communicated in advance.
3. Attendance & Absences
We understand that illness and unexpected circumstances arise. We just ask that you let us know as soon as possible if your young person is unable to attend, and a make-up session will be organised.
- Please arrive on time and collect your young person promptly at the end of the session.
- If Ranges Studio cancels a session, families will be notified as early as possible and a make-up session or credit will be provided. Classes are not held on Victorian public holidays, and families are not charged for these sessions. Your young person's place is always retained.
4. Withdrawal
- Two weeks' written notice is required to withdraw from the program. Fees remain payable during the notice period.

5. Photography & Media
From time to time, we may photograph or record classes, workshops, and performances for use in promotional materials, including our website, social media, and printed materials.
- By enrolling, you consent to your young person being included in general class and performance photography and video.
- Images are used solely for Ranges Studio purposes and are never sold or shared with third parties.
- If you prefer your young person not to be photographed, please let us know in writing at any time and we will accommodate this.
6. Personal Belongings
Please ensure your young person only brings what they need to class. Ranges Studio is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings brought to the studio.
7. General
- Ranges Studio may make reasonable changes to scheduling, staffing, class sizes, and program delivery from time to time.
- These terms may be updated occasionally. Families will be notified of any material changes. The current version is always available at rangesstudio.com.au/terms.
